This is the new blog of the Green team on Marrickville Council.
Five Greens were elected to Marrickville Council on 13 September 2008.
The Green Team consists of Fiona Byrne, Max Phillips, Cathy Peters, Peter Olive and Marika Kontellis.
We hope to blog regularly to keep residents of Marrickville and other interested people informed of what’s happening on Marrickville Council and what the Greens are doing and what the other parties and Councillors are doing.

The Green Team on Marrickville Council represent the two local Greens groups in our area, the Marrickville Greens and the Petersham-Newtown Greens. Both these local groups are branches of The NSW Greens, which is federated with other state Greens parties into the Australian Greens.
